[Starting Hand Chart] 2NL

Hello dear readers,

Most of you will surely laugh when you will read the subject of my topic but I would like to share my SHC that I use in 2NL. As you can see, I don't play many hands but sometimes I can play hands which are not in my SHC depending of the players etc ...

If there are things you don't understand, feel free to leave a comment and we will talk about it.

Kind regards,
GodBlessMaliSunSeT

[Hand analysis] 2NL

Hello dear readers,

After having introduced myself in my first post, I'm gonna post a few hands and try to analyze them if it is necessary. I play in micro limit so the hands I will post may not be very interesting for you but I would still appreciate your opinion. I will only post 7 hands, 3 where I did well and 4 where I did bad or got unlucky. I can't post all the hands I would like ot otherwise, there would be a lot ...

1. AA vs KK vs KJs

BB had K, K (two pair, Kings and nines).
CO had J, K (two pair, Jacks and nines).
Outcome: Hero won $5.73, BB won $4.56

There is nothing interesting to say about this hand. I was all-in preflop against KK and KJs and I have to admit that I was more afraid of this KJs than KK because of the flop which offered him a flushdraw but good enough he didn't hit his card and I won my largest pot in 2NL.

MP1 mucked A, A (one pair, Aces).
Outcome: Hero won $4.16

In my previous post, I said that I like to play pocket pairs aggressively so here is an example of how I play a pocket pair. I was against drugoi[ua] (10/7 with 80 hands) and Arkaaa (75/16 with 73 hands). I was in early position and I made a raise of 4BB. drugoi[ua] made a raise of 2.5* and he gets called by two players including me. The flop is perfect for me because I hit my 7 which gives me a three of a kind. The first player checks and I bet half of the pot because the board is not terrifying and I want them to call me. Unfortunately, I am called by only one player, drugoi[ua]. I knew that he had a hand like TT+ so it is an excellent for me. On the turn, he called my bet whereas the card was not very good so I have to admit that I was scared he had KK so I was beaten but it was not the case, he had AA and I won.

3. AQs vs 99

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

MP2 ($1.08)
Hero (CO) ($2)

UTG ($2.15)

UTG calls $0.02, 3 folds, Hero bets $0.10, Button calls $0.10, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.08

Flop: ($0.33) 7, A, A (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, Button bets $0.22, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.88, Button raises to $1.50 (All-In), Hero calls $0.62

Turn: ($3.33) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($3.33) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $3.33 | Rake: $0.15

Results:
Button mucked 9, 9 (two pair, Aces and nines).
Hero had Q, A (full house, Aces over twos).
Outcome: Hero won $3.18

This hand is not very interesting but I still post it because I don't really have a better hand where I win 'much'. I raise to 0.10$ because of a player from UTG who limped. I am called by two players including smokey_ma79. The flop is excellent for me and I decided to slow play my hand because there is not any straight/flush draw and I wanted to make a check/raise. The button bets 0.22$ in a 0.33$ pot and I decide to raise him and he goes all-in and of course, I called his all-in and won. He had 99.

4. KK vs 86s

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

MP2 ($2.41)
MP3 ($2.63)
CO ($2.13)
Hero (Button) ($2.13)
SB ($2.47)
BB ($2.45)
UTG ($0.87)
UTG+1 ($5.37)
MP1 ($2.19)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, K
6 folds, Hero bets $0.08, SB calls $0.07, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.18) 6, 8, 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.12, SB raises to $0.24, Hero raises to $0.72, SB raises to $1.20, Hero calls $0.48

Turn: ($2.58) 7 (2 players)
SB bets $1.19 (All-In), Hero calls $0.85 (All-In)

River: ($4.28) Q (2 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: $4.28 | Rake: $0.20

Results:
Hero had K, K (one pair, Kings).
SB had 6, 8 (two pair, eights and sixes).
Outcome: SB won $4.08

Here is the first bad hand I played. I was first-in with KK so I made a standard bet of 0.08$ and I got called by cinek3007 (59/2 with 46 mains) who was the SB. The flop is perfect for me so I made a bet of 2/3 pot after my opponent checked it. Unfortunately, he makes a minraise so at that moment, I thought he had A8 and that I still had the best hand so I raised his minraise but he raised him again and I call. The turn card is not a superb one because it gives a flush and straight draw and he goes all-in but I couldn't see him with T9 so I thought he still had A8 or 2 hearts in his hand so I called his all-in and he showed 86s and I lost. I think I should have folded my hand where he raised me postflop after I had raised him.

5. 77 vs T6s

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

SB ($5.25)
BB ($1.11)
UTG ($4.79)
MP ($3.86)
CO ($0.91)
Hero (Button) ($2)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7, 7
3 folds, Hero bets $0.08, SB calls $0.07, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.18) 8, 7, 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.18, SB raises to $0.50, Hero raises to $1.92 (All-In), SB calls $1.42

Turn: ($4.02) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($4.02) 6 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $4.02 | Rake: $0.20

Results:
Hero had 7, 7 (three of a kind, sevens).
SB had 10, 6 (straight, ten high).
Outcome: SB won $3.82

In my winning hands, I explained that I like to play aggressively my pocket pairs and I did the same here. I was first-in on a SH table. I raised to 0.08 and I got called by Ritschi1986 (20/4 with 46 hands) who was the SB. The flop it is pretty bad because it offers a straight/flush draw but I really didn't put him on the straight because calling a raise with JT at the SB would be very bad but since he is a player who plays many hands ... Moreover, I hit the board since I got my 7 but I decided to bet the pot because the board was too terrifying. Unfortunately, he raised me and I pushed all-in and he called and he had the straight. Did I make a mistake by calling his raise postflop?

6. AKo vs JTs

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

Button ($2.01)
Hero (SB) ($2)
BB ($4.49)
UTG ($1.28)
UTG+1 ($4)
MP1 ($1.05)
MP2 ($3.96)
CO ($2.55)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, K
UTG calls $0.02, 4 folds, Button calls $0.02, Hero bets $0.12, BB calls $0.10, 1 fold, Button calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.38) K, 6, A (3 players)
Hero bets $0.28, BB calls $0.28, 1 fold

Turn: ($0.94) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.80, BB calls $0.80

River: ($2.54) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $3.29 (All-In), Hero calls $0.80 (All-In)

Total pot: $4.14 | Rake: $0.20

Results:
Hero had A, K (two pair, Aces and Kings).
BB had J, 10 (flush, Ace high).
Outcome: BB won $3.94

I am the SB with AKo, I raise to 0.12$ because of the 2 limpers and I am called by letocompact (63/6 with 16 hands) who is the SB and sunnyfishTT (28/0 with 18 hands) who is at BTN. The flop offers me 2 pairs but there is also a flush draw and I really don't want to give a free card so I bet 0.28$ in a 0.38$ pot and I am called by the SB. The turn gives another flush draw so I make a huge bet to make him fold so I bet 0.80$ in a 0.94$ pot and he calls and the river card is really a bad card because the flush is now possible. He had never bet and he goes all-in (3.29$) but since I had 0.80$ left, I decided to call but unfortunately he had the flsuh.

7. AKo vs 44

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

Button ($1)
SB ($3.38)
BB ($1.43)
UTG ($4.91)
Hero (MP) ($2.87)

1 fold, Hero bets $0.08, 1 fold, SB calls $0.07, BB calls $0.06

Turn: ($0.40) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($0.40) 3 (2 players)
BB bets $0.22, Hero raises to $0.88, BB raises to $1.27 (All-In), Hero calls $0.39

Total pot: $2.94 | Rake: $0.10

Results:
BB had 4, 4 (full house, fours over Aces).
Hero had A, K (three of a kind, Aces).
Outcome: BB won $2.84

It was a SH tabled and I was first-in so I raised to 0.08 and I got called by the blinds. I hit TPTK and Imake a 1/3 bet because I want to trap them but there is only one player who calls me, T4NITO (36/3 with 36 hands).
The turn is a very nice card for me because it is another A. He checks as well as me because I wanted him to bet the river where he bet half pot, I raised him and he went all-in, I call and he showed a full house.

Did I play bad this hand? Would have it been better to check/call the river or would you have raised as well?

Ok, I am done with the hands for today, I will post more when I will play again and I hope I will have feed back from you.

Thanks much for reading,
